I'm developing an application that will run on JBoss portal that includes
several jboss-specific deployment packages (replacing some existing
service implementations). These aren't standard JEE components, but
jboss-specific packages (SARS and a Spring-Jboss integration package),
with their own particular packaging structures and deployment files. I'd
like to be able to leverage the WTP deployment tools to publish these
components to jboss just like I can do with my webapp. Any insights into
how feasible this is? Is there a set of mappings somewhere which I can
extend, either ad-hoc or (preferably) to define new module types? Or is
adding publish/deploy support beyond the existing deployable projects
(ejbs, wars, ears) a major endeavor? Where would be the best place to

I'm currently using Eclipse 3.1, WTP 1.0, will consider upgrading to
callisto if that helps.
