Hi,

I just downloaded the Platform RC6 to use the new Callisto RC4. As usual I
wanted to use the update site to install WTP but there are two things I
dont understand:

"This Callisto Discovery Site contains the RC2 level of feature and
plug-ins for a number of Eclipse based projects." RC2? Likely only a
missing text update and not related to WTP.

WST: 1.5.0.v200605221430
JST: 1.5.0.v200605191500

But according to the Webtools homepage WTP RC4 is 200605310507. So is
there an old (something between WTP RC3 and RC4) version on the update
site or are these completely unrelated version numbers or is this just a
text bug?

I really like your project and the newer builds work very good for me but
the whole Eclipse website and documentation is very very confusing as - on
most parts - a deep knowledge of the Eclipse platform and its
build/community processes is assumed and understandable information is
buried deep in the site.

But that is off topic. My question is if the update site that is
preconfigured with Eclipse Platform RC6 contains the most recent WTP
version or not.

Thank you,
Lars

Yes.

Is this date on zip file?
Unfortunately, we haven't figured out a good way to get "zip file"
date versions and "feature versions" to match up well. You'll note
the other dates, e.g. v200605221430, start with a 'v' ... that's
an indication (unintentially) that particular date corresponds to
a cvs version number. We do want that cvs version number ... but,
the "zip file date" is all set up to be "date of build".
