I am very new to the eclipse IDE platform and right now I am going through
a very fraustrating period in trying to locate a good tutorial on Web
development, EJB and J2EE using this platform.
I would really appreciate if someone good reply with a link to a couple of
decent tutorials or even better a webcast demo.
There is sooo...muuuch stuff out there on eclipse its really quite
confusing to get started. I've spent the last couple days gorping at the
IDE's elegant design and downloading plugins, but not much in the way of
real work!
Thank you in advance.

Probably you're best bet is here,
http://java.sun.com/javaee/reference/tutorials/index.jsp
Also, be forwarned, while WTP is probably pretty good with dynamic web
projects, I've yet to be able to do much with it in the way of EJB and web
services. It's getting better, but could be daunting for someone unfamiliar
with Eclipse, in general.
There are more polished IDE's, like Oracle's JDeveloper, if you need EJB
3.0, JSF and the like.

Thanks, I'll download JDeveloper and evaluate that IDE.
In the meantime I have found this tutorial
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/library/techarticl e/dm-0509cline/
that I am working through.
