Can SWTBot be used for a SWT application(jar file) [message #1099781]

Hello All!

I am trying out find a test automation tools for swing application,and recently came across SWTBot!

Now I met a issue of swtbot,pls check following description.

I have a swing application named swingclient.jar and run with command "java -jar c:\swingclient.jar" on command-line.

I wrote some testcases in eclipse and I want to run these test cases from eclipse to test swingclient.jar application,I think swingclient.jar should be launch frist and test case be launched next.But I don't know how to do like this.

Somebody can help me?

Any help is much appreciated!

Swing != SWT, so SWTBot (which focuses on SWT) won't work for Swing
applications.
