The problem is that I created a custom perspective, but when I double click on a file in the project explorer, it still opens it in a window which I don't want.
Apparently I can't delete a window? Because it's just a blank white space and it only lets me minimize and maximize, but minimizing doesn't prevent source files from being opened in there.
