Referenced Jar Does not exist [message #159264] Mon, 06 February 2006 21:21 Go to next message

I recently upgraded to Java JDK 1.5, to fix other issues with the web
services I upgraded my Axis to 1_3. Since then I have been chasing one
error after another. Most seem to be related to classpath. The following
is the latest message:

The archive: c:/j2sdk1.4.2_08/lib/tools.jar which is referenced by the
classpath, does not exist.

I looked at my classpath system variable and I have absolutely no
reference in there to c:/j2sdk1.4.2.

What is causing this error?

How can I fix this error?

Thanks,
Ben

I think this is a setting in Windows --> Preferences --> Ant --> Runtime --> Global Entries. You need to add tools.jar as an External Jar.
