Hi,

I have a combo and changed the visibleItemCount to 25.
But when I have a small browserwindow then I can't see all the items rendered and can't select the ones I can't see.

In chrome you can drag the scrollbar and the entire window scrollsdown.
But in IE it seems that this doesn't work.
(see the 2 screenshots I attached)

Are there any known solutions for this?

We can set the visibleitemcount to a lower number.
Is there an other solution?

Tx.

Hi Wim,
I think the behavior of IE is correct (Firefox behaves the same). Chrome
page scrolling is not desired and you could open a bug about it. There
is already a similar bug opened:
400444: [Shell] Content scrolls when tabbing through the widgets
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=400444
To scroll such a big list you could use mouse wheel when hovering the
list. BTW if you have so many items in the Combo you could give the
incubator DropDown widget a try [1]. It provides a list with sugestions
when you start typing into the text field.

Tx for the suggestion, but the customer doesn't want the dropdown widget.

I will reduce the visible item count for now.
Most likely the user will also be working at full resolution and the problem will not occur.
