Hi,

I am trying to implement a diagram editor for a DSL defined with Xtext. The problem is that the layout information of components of that language are defined in the text document. So I created a custom Diagram class that is returned when a resource is being loaded. However, when I open a file, the diagram is empty. When I save the diagram in a new file, the content is displayed correctly. Can someone tell me which part of the framework depends on a resource and how to avoid this problem?
