I am using eclipse Galileo version and using crystal report for making report file, now I am facing error is permgen error while open a crystal report rpt file in eclipse, some times its showed alert like permgen and unhandled event loop exception error ,once this alert comes after eclipse application automatically closed .

kindly give me a solution for this issues

It's a common enough occurrence when you have a lot of classes loading into your JVM. A solution can be found in the IRC FAQ: http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_increase_the_permgen_size_available_to_Eclipse%3F
