I note that the API for MPerspective supports VisibleWhen. But I don't see it in the UI. Is that an omission in the UI? If I just add it in the XML, will it work? (Or will it throw it away the next time I edit it with the UI?) Or can I only add it in by code?

It must have access to that model attribute because of what it extends, but AFAIK perspective won't honour the visibleWhen attribute.
