I am trying to get dependency injection to work in Virgo Server for Apache Tomcat 3.6.1.
More specifically my @PostConstruct and @Resource annotations aren't having any effect in a JAX-WS WSServlet... which I guess is expected given that if I read the feature table correctly:
http://www.eclipse.org/virgo/feature-summary/

... Java Enterprise APIs are supported in Nano Web but not in the Tomcat version.

Is there any easy way to make this work? There seem to be quite a few directions to look into (spring, weld RI, ...) and I am not too sure where to start.

Thanks!
