Hello,

In ATL, the preferred order for using rules is the following one: use standard "matched rules" as much as possible, only when required (in specific cases) use some "unique lazy rules" or standard "lazy rules".
You can find information on lazy rules (standard and unique) from the dedicated ATL user guide section.
Basically, the difference between "unique lazy rules" and "lazy rules" is that when calling several times an unique lay rule on the same input element, only one corresponding output model element is created (and then referred to).

Best regards,

Hugo
