How to draw feedback shapes? [message #1032615] Wed, 03 April 2013 03:58 Go to next message

When dragging some businessobject from the palette, is it possible to generate a feedback shape(maybe 50% transparent) during the drag process?

And once I drop down the shape, the feedback shape disappears and the real shape is drawn.

It there any such machanism existing in Graphiti?

Thanks.

Sorry, but we don't have anything like that currently. Also on move the
shape itself is not shown but only its frame.

But feel free to open an enhancement request for this.

Thanks, I rembember vaguely that this feature does exist in GMF and I really hope
that graphiti will support it in the future.

Just an FYI, I believe the support you are looking for is already associated with an enhancement request: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=323363. I've been watching it for awhile Smile. I agree that this would be a nice feature to have implemented some day.
