[Texo] Retrieve children [message #1020923] |

Hi,
this could be a simple question, but obviously I don't have a solution, yet. How can I set child levels for a query on a JSONTexoResource or on the resource itself?
Best regards
Bastian

Hi Bastian,
Yes this could be made easier to configure. Can you try adding the 'childLevels' parameter to the url of the internal
eobjectstore? (I think you override already things to authentication, right?)
I can make this configurable through the resource or eobjectstore directly. Can you enter a bugzilla for that?

Hi Martin,
this probably might be a different topic, but is somehow related to this one. I recognized that proxies in a JSONTexoResource are only resolved, if the containing Resource is created by a ResourceSet. Unfortunately I'm not experienced in using ResourceSets. My approach would be to extend the ResourceSetImpl and override the createResource method and maybe also the ResourceSetFactory. But honestly that is all I know so far. So I want to ask you, if you could provide some information about how to use a JSONTexoResource within a ResourceSet, or are there even some example implementations?
When I saw, I'm using the JSONTexoResource not as you intended it, I thought the behaviour mentioned here: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/457509/1015006/ might be just not as I expected it, because I'm using it without a ResourceSet.
Best regards
Bastian
