Validations [message #1020429] Mon, 18 March 2013 02:40 Go to next message

I need to validate my input suppose in a text widget which needs to adhere to specific regex.
On successful validation I need to call the corresponding widgets listener for further processing.
I need to do so in order to avoid round trip time to server in case input provided is wrong.

Is there any thing I can do to achieve this functionality???

Thanks in advance,
Ketan.

Ketan,

What you are looking for can be done with RAP ClientScripting[1] which is available from the Incubator. See the wiki page for more details.

Hope that helps,
