[CDO] Need to refresh the Server after modify security model? [message #1016038] Mon, 04 March 2013 11:53 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm using a repository with the security enabled. With the default security configuration, the Administrator cannot create any resource, only modify the security model, so I need to modify this security model in order to add Write permissions to the "All Objects" and "Resource Tree" roles.

After that, I needed to restart the server in order the changes take effect. Does exist any way to indicate the server to reload the the security model? It's important cause it could exist a view or a form to insert users to the system, and it's not a good practice to restart the server every time...

Thanks,
Marc

I see that this question is included in a bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=399480

So I'll wait for a possible solution in future releases...

Thanks,
Marc
