[CDO] Net4j tied to old version of h2? [message #1010952] Mon, 18 February 2013 09:36 Go to next message

Hi,

As far as I understand newer versions of the org.eclipse.net4j.db.h2 bundle has started to import the org.h2.value package whereas the org.h2 bundle has stopped to export the org.h2.value package some time ago.

It seems that this will tie net4j.db.h2 and CDO to H2 version 1.1.117 or something. H2 is now at version 1.3.

The new import can be found in, for example, org.eclipse.net4j.db.h2_4.2.0.v20130116-0901 which can be found in emf-cdo-S20130205-0640-Dropins.zip. But the import occcurs also in other CDO 4.2 builds.

Intentional?

Optionally!

I didn't know about that. Is that a problem?

I think CDO should work with any H2 version in the range [1.0.0,2.0.0).
