I am an experienced Java and Eclipse developer and I am looking for a full-time position in the United States. Visa required (H-1B).
Preferred location: California, but open to other positions in the US.
Experience and qualifications
- 4-5 years experience building enterprise-level applications that have been released and shipped to customers
- Background in designing and developing Eclipse RCP Java based applications and plugins (3-4 years)
- Developer and committer for the Eclipse foundation (1-2 years) and other Open Source projects
- Deep knowledge of modeling languages and model driven environment
- Experience with Agile processes, especially Scrum
- Background building software using web technologies in various context (1-2 years)
- MS in Computer Science
Skills
- Java and Eclipse plugins development
- MDA and code generation
- UML/SysML and EPF
- EMF/GEF/GMF
- OCL and ATL
- UI Toolkits - SWT/JFace, Swing
- Eclipse provisioning - bundles, p2, update sites
- Data base, dynamic language, bugtrackers, version control, multi-platforms
Other
- Ability to thrive in an agile and collaborative environment
- Have experience and a strong interest in Agile methodologies
- Looking for new challenges and eager to improve my knowledge on cutting-edge technologies
