Where can I find Ecore.ecore [message #1005774] Mon, 28 January 2013 11:54 Go to next message

Where could I find the ecore for the Ecore metamodel - essentially Ecore.ecore? I think it would be very handy to refer to graphically or as OCLinEcore/EMF. I guess I could generate it pretty easily, but is it laying around somewhere already I can just grab it?

Thanks!

David,

It's in the org.eclipse.emf.ecore plugin under the models folder. You
can import that bundle as source and there are Ecore diagrams there
already. Its GenModel can be exported to Xcore, if you have that installed.

Hello,

I have installed xcore but when I want to export the genmodel, the xcore is not in the list! Confused

Thanx

If you do File -> New -> Project... is Xcore -> Xcore Project in that
wizard?
