When I type the ";" at the end of each line, content assist pops up and will add the first item on the list (usually $_COOKIE). I know I can adjust the delay or even disable the content assist, but I like it in most occasions. It just seems to be firing at times that do not make sense. Is there a way to control what patterns trigger the popup? I don't think it is reasonable to expect people to key in "alt+/" between ";" and "enter".

It seems a yii-eclipse plugin update was the culprit. I uninstalled the yii-eclipse and the content assist started behaving again.
