JSON Library in birt? [message #991101] Mon, 17 December 2012 06:13 Go to next message

Hi,

I wonder if BIRT ships with a JSON library, somewhere in its dependencies? I need to build a JSON object in a birt dataset fetch, and then stringify it for my project. I can manage this by attaching to reports a library such JSON simple, or Google JSON factory. However if birt already embeds something like this i would prefer using it, because my report deployments would be easier.

Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I don't believe so. Here is an example that shows how you can bring JSON formatted data in through a scripted dataSource, though:
