Help: KEY_FILES_TO_PARSE_UP_FRONT Missing in Eclipse 4.2 CDT 8.1 [message #981237]

Our team is currently on plugin development, and we want to upgrade our plugins from Eclipse 3.4.1 CDT 5.1 To Eclipse 4.2 CDT 8.1.

We found out that KEY_FILES_TO_PARSE_UP_FRONT in IndexerPreferences.class is missing.

Path on CDT 5.1: org.eclipse.cdt.internal.core.pdom.indexer.IndexerPreferences

Unfortunately we are not the one who first developed the plugins we are currently working.

We would like to know:

1. The purpose of KEY_FILES_TO_PARSE_UP_FRONT
2. Why was it removed in CDT 8.1
3. The alternative that we could use in replacement for KEY_FILES_TO_PARSE_UP_FRONT

Hi, I also encountered this problem.
I would also like to know any alternative code that could be use as a replacement or any method how to fix this problem.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help us solve this problem.

KEY_FILES_TO_PARSE_UP_FRONT was removed because it was obsolete.
