Hi,

is there a way to get a wtp webservice running with Jboss as server for
the AXIS runtime?

Trying to get the "Creating Bottom-Up Web Service" example out of the
Web Application Developement Guide (Eclipse 3.1/wtp 0.7) running the
creation stops with the following message:

No suitable server can be found for the Apache Axis Web service runtime.
Go to Window > Preferences. Select Server > Installed Runtimes and
configure one of the following: Tomcat v4.0 Server, Tomcat v4.1 Server,
Tomcat v5.0 Server, Tomcat v5.5 Server, Geronimo v1.0 Server

Thanks
Reinhard

I am assuming since you did not mention jboss3 serverdef that you might have JBoss4..

If that is the case look at the eclipseplugins.info? there is a new JBoss4 serverDef plugin just added last week..

I've 2 serverdefinitions to select from:

1) Pro Eclipse JST Generice Serverdefinitions
2) org.jboss.ide.eclipse.serverdefinitions_0.7.0.jar

Both seem not to address the problem. I need the
jboss Server as selcection item defining the wtp
preferences for webservices and the axis runtime
and not the generic definition for the application
server.

.... Preferences > Web Services > Server and Runtime (wtp)

.... Preferences > Servers > Installed Runtimes is
alredy set to Jboss 4.x. (generic)
