eclipse freezing while profiling [message #136086] |

I'm having troubles profiling with Ganymede. Profiling a small process
(that takes about just about 45 seconds to finish execution in the
profiler) makes Eclipse memory usage go up to 700MB and become sluggish.
After each profiling session I've to kill it from the task manager since
it won't even close.
I've tried both with the IAC and with a standalone AC, and the same
application profiles fine in my older computer with eclipse Europa and a
standalone AC.
I'm running windows XP, with eclipse Ganymede.
Any clue of anything that I might be doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi Santi,
Which JVM level are you running Eclipse with? (try java.exe -version)
Do you see any suspicious log entry in the workspce/.metadata/.log file?
