TPTP recording: AJAX Waiting [message #135445] Thu, 04 September 2008 16:05 Go to next message

Hello,
When I do record a URL test, I do have to wait for a page to load: This is
by design: Our web appl. uses Ajax to complete front end.

When I play back recorded test, the page is loaded and I get a very short
responseURL Time: 16

Is there a way to wait for ajax event then requesting a page ?

Thank you.

Hi Martin,
Currently, there is no support for suspending the URL test execution
until AJAX completes rendering the page. The URL test type is only intended
for simple HTTP applications.

You could contribute this support to the project, if interested.
