Hi Alain,
the most likely cause is that the Subversion connector had dependencies on
Mylyn that got uninstalled when the connector was uninstalled.
The focus buttons for the Navigator views are provided by context
connectors. For the Java package explorer you would need to install "Mylyn
Context Connector: Java Development" for instance which is available from
the Mylyn or Eclipse release train repositories.
