Hi
I've instaled jdk7_u7, Eclipse Juno 4.2, Android SDK/ADT on a Win7 64-bit laptop without any problems.
I'm now trying to perform a similar setup on a 32bit Ubuntu 12.04 laptop.
I followed the instructions at:
developer.android.com/sdk/installing/installing-adt.html
[with http:// prefix, as can't add links since posted <25 messages]
Everything went fine apart from:
"Once Eclipse restarts, you must specify the location of your Android SDK directory:
In the "Welcome to Android Development" window that appears, select Use existing SDKs."
I just didn't see the configuration window?
I see that other people have also experienced this problem:
stackoverflow.com/questions/12756839/after-installing-adt-plugin-welcome-to-android-development-doesnt-appear
[with http:// prefix, as can't add links since posted <25 messages]
However, if I follow the suggested instructions of:
"Try this
Window > Customize Perspective > Menu Visibility > Expand 'File' > Expand 'New' > Tick 'Android Project'
and Then, look for new Android application project"
I don't see the Android Project listed.
If I go back to Help|Install New Software I can see that all of the ADT plugins are installed. Indeed, if I attempt to reinstall it complains that they are already installed, so things look ok.
So, does anyone know how I see the Android ADT Plugins in Eclipse?
Thanks
Graham

I know this is old, but it comes up at the top of search engine results and I expect many people may find this when trying to solve the same issue (which is what I did). Having finally solved the mystery after several days, I'd like to offer the answer as a reference for anyone else who may come across this page while searching for help trying to finish their set-up of eclipse.
1. If you don't find a "use existing sdks" option when you restart eclipse simply go to Window > Preferences.
2. At the top of the next box, you should see a drop box labeled as "Sdk location." The location needs to match the directory where your sdks are stored. If it does, you're already done. If not, continue to the next step.
3. Click the "browse" button and select the directory where your sdks are being stored.
When this is complete, you will be able to continue on with the included instructions to finish setting up Eclipse.
