Providing a FileStore [message #925345] Thu, 27 September 2012 12:28 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,
I like to add a FileStore for a special file type, to provide a custom InputStream.
I read this [1] article about EFS and a FileStore seems to be perfect, but the introduced FileSystem is registered to a special scheme. I want my FileStore to be activated when the file type is requested with a normal "file" scheme uri.

So I did not find the proper Forum to this question; could you please redirect me or give a hint how to contribute a FileStore for a certain file type?

Best regards,
Moritz

There was a similar problem where it is supposed that it is not possible to add custom FileStores to the "file"-scheme EFS. Is that correct, are there maybe other ways?
Thanks.
