I am developing an RCP application and I want to create custom errors,for example if the user left a mandatory field blank.

I want to display these errors in the problem or marker view along with other errors that occur, for example i am using EMF and the parsing of some xml is done correctly
and the errors are displayed in the views.

I tried using custom markers but I didnt manage to create custom marker contents...

Any ideas how can i generate custom errors and warnings...?
