Hello
I would be grateful if you could give me some help regarding a TPTP issue
I am facing for a while now. My problem is as follows:
I need AGR to test my application, which is an eclipse application, but it
only opens the REGULAR DEVELOPMENT eclipse workbench.
I defined '.deployment', '.artifact' and '.location' files that describes
the context of my application.
Those are the main '.location' file properties I configured:
------------------------------------------------------------ ---------
- 'ECLIPSE_STARTUP_PATH' = path to the equinox.launcher jar file used by
my application.
- 'eclipse location' = path to the eclipse installation my application
uses.
- 'workspace data' = the absolute path of the workspace that my
application.
- all other properties have been copied from the run dialog of my
application, besides which plugins to use, which doesn't include the
plugins defined in that run dialog (why can't I pick them from the
location file? is it important??)
I would appreciate any help given to me on that matter.
Thanks,
Nadav

Hi
I tried your solution, but the test is still being run against the
development eclipse workbench:
I defined the 'eclipse location' of the AGR test editor's Overview tab to
refer to the path of the eclipse installation my application uses.
The 'development eclipse workbench' is the type of eclipse you can edit
and compile your code in.
The meaning it that the AGR test is being run against another instance of
THAT type of eclipse, instead of running against my application.
Any idea what the reason for this might be?

Hi
I am running on regular mode, not on quick mode, and refer to the proper
deployment file from the 'run' dialog.
I do refer to the equinox launch jar file of the application from the
location file.
I am also new to eclipse based application development, so maybe the
question that should be asked here is how is it decided which eclipse
should be used for the eclipse-based-application?
Maybe I am just not refering to the equinox launcher jar file of the
eclipse the application usses.
Thanks again,
Nadav

Problem solved. Apperantly the issue was that the application uses the
actual eclipse workbench it is being developed on, while running it from
the code.
Many thanks
