Usage of CallOperationAction [message #918692] Fri, 21 September 2012 04:57 Go to next message

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a model with activities that call operations of other objects (or event of the same object) using the "Call Operation Action" but this doesn't seem to work, contrary to "Call Behaviour Action". Has anybody got a simple example model that uses CallOperationAction and can be animated?

For simulation I'm using the "Papyrus Animator" of Papyrus V0.8.2 (as part of Topcased 5.2.0) running on Eclipse 3.7.2.

Thanks in advance,

Ivan

Hi Ivan,

did you post a message on TOPCASED users mailing list? As simulation is a TOPCASED component you would certainly have better chances to get answers from that channel.

Given its name, I assumed that the "Papyrus Animator" is a Papyrus feature. Is it not?

No it is not a Papyrus feature. It only means that it can animate Papyrus models (probably the name is not really meaningfull).
So currently callOperation is not supported in TOPCASED simulation component.
