Hi,
I'm in the process of rewriting a large part of TextEditor using only
jface/swt.

Rationale is I want to be able to use this in both e3 and e4 (with
suitable thin wrapper layer).

First question: is it true there is no TextEditor equivalent for pure
e4? Otherwise I could try that, instead.

Second: If there is interest in such a beast I could try to make it more
general than I really need and contribute it.

I am a fairly seasoned programmer, but decidedly *not* an eclipse guru,
so any comment would be very welcome.
