Thread deadlock when call to org.eclipse.swt.ole.win32.OleClientSite.doVerb is made [message #892885]

Hi
I have an application that uses OLEControlsite to open a word document.
Everything works fine except for sometimes a call to org.eclipse.swt.ole.win32.OleClientSite.doVerb hangs the application.
Please refer to attached thread lock dump.

Can any one let me know what can be the reason for this? Do we need to make calls like org.eclipse.swt.ole.win32.OleClientSite.doVerb in a separate thread?

Any pointers are appreciated.
