tomcat 6
IE9
the report viewer only show the progress bar,and cannot get result.

Does the Birt 2.3.x support IE9?

It is not on the support matrix for 2.3.2, mainly because ie9 was not
out when 2.3.2 was released. The latest versions of BIRT are tested on
ie9. Can you try one of those?

BTW if you cant upgrade you could try running IE9 in compatibility mode.
