Adding Papyrus feature to a product [message #885229] Tue, 12 June 2012 12:32 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm trying to build an eclipse product with the org.eclipse.papyrus feature. I use the version 0.8.2.v201202150957. My product has several feature and one of them inludes the org.eclipse.papyrus feature. But when it comes to building the product with PDE Build I get the following error:

d:\eclipse\eclipse-modeling-indigo-win32-x86_64\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.common.palette.customization_0.8.2.v201202150957\build.xml:479: d:\apps\eclipse.build.ifx\plugins\org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.common.palette.customization_0.8.2.v201202150957\@dot does not exist.

It seema that PDE Build is calling a build file from the papyrus features. Is it the write way ? or should I configure a property to skip building the papyrus features ?

One solution is to add the org.eclipse.papyrus.backbone feature to the dependencies (and not the included feature) of a feature that will be included into the product.
