hi,

i thoroughly searched the internet and ur forums too to see if i could gt any help regarding setting the environment for c development. i did get a few helpful things but still i am having problems.

i installed the mingw compiler. do i need to tell the route of the compiler to eclipse?

because i am unable to see in the toolchains column with this checkbox ticked -
"show project types and toolchains only if they are supported on the platform."

if i untick this checkbox, i can see the minGW option. so i selected that and built my program. i am getting this error in my 'console' - Program gcc is not found in path.
Build error occured. build is stopped.

what do i do now? please help in a way in which i can quickly grasp wht u r trying to say. i am new to this.

thanks in advance
