Hello,

I have an Eclipse RCP application that is being deployed via webstart. Webstart JNLP downloads successfully and on the initial execution runs the application successfully without errors. Any future attempts to run the same JNLP by double-clicking on the file from the downloads folder or a shortcut on the desktop fail, exception in the log:

Did you ever solve this? I too am having a similar problem, I believe it is config.ini related.

We did resolve this. Issue was not related to WebStart but to the configuration on the client PC and a classpath issue. Key piece of information in the error was:
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=en_US. Our app is built for 32 bit and when initially downloaded would use the 32 bit version, however due to a classpath setting on the client pc, subsequent launches used the 64 bit version. We removed our 64 bit installations of java and problem was resolved.

hi

I have almost the same error log file. My issue is 64 bit Windows version of the app does not work. While 32 bit Windows version, 32 and 64 bit Mac version, 32 and 64 bit linux version work fine.

Just to be sure, I manually tried to run the app with 64 bit JAVA virtual machine
But it still gave me the same error message and generated the same error log file

Not sure why it is not working. Following is the link to my problem description:-

I shall appreciate any help resolving it
