DDMS GPX file import problems [message #822946] Sat, 17 March 2012 10:38 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm trying to import GPX files through the DDMS, Location Control, GPX import GUI

When I select the GPX file to import, nothing happens.
After much googling, I've tried;

Restarting Eclipse
Trying many different GPX files, including a custom route from Google exported to GPX
Changing GPX headers to reflect v1.1 instead of 1.0
Tried GPSBabel to convert GPX 1.0 to GPX 1.1 (although the latest version of GPSBabel doesn't seem to distinguish between the two so I suspect I'm achieving nothing with this)

I've tried searching "GPX" on this forum and haven't found anything.

No matter what I try eclipse stubbornly refuse to do anything. I really need this function to properly test a google maps API app I'm building - any help would be much appreciated!

R

A Google search seems to indicate that GPX and DDMS are Android related.
Eclipse forums don't provide support for Android. Google provides
support options for Android development.
