I have faceted wtp project with maven (org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core.nature). I found that in latest 3.3.2 my static resources eg: html files are not copied into server environment (.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\), web.xml and other configurations are copied. Any additional configuration required?

I don't use maven, so I can't comment on how well it does or doesn't
integrate with WTP in various use cases. If something that should be
publishing and isn't, then it's most likely in the Deployment Assembly
page in the project's Properties dialog where something is missing. I
know you can specify that certain project folder in a Dynamic Web
Project should be included in the published Web application.

Cheers,
Larry
