Open Resource dialog : how to restrict extension to js ? [message #815940] Thu, 08 March 2012 03:27 Go to next message

When I want to get a list of all the JavaScript files in my project(s), I would expect using CTRL-SHIFT-R and then typing *.js to provide me this list.

But it also returns all *.jsf, *.jsp, ... files.

The wildcard '<' which exists for filenames does not work for extension.

I read somewhere that adding a space after the extension could work, but it does not.

Is there any workaround to this problem ? (Or am I missing something obvious ?)

Thanks,

Stephane

You are correct that typing *.js followed by a space should restict the list to just JS files.

This stopped working after I upgraded to Eclipse Indigo. I haven't yet had a chance to rule out other possible causes however.
