i have this report attached bellow with screen shot.
need to add some colapsing and expanding functionality in cross tab.
I need to add some hiding to the location values. I want to add "+" near the application column which on click will expand and show all locations(Hollywood, jamaika...) after expansion the sign will turn to "-" and it will hide all the locations on click. I want that only the first row with the missing location will be visible always in expanded locations view and collapsed.
please suggest how can i do so?

I do not have an expand/collapse crosstab example, but I do have an
example of using the api to create a crosstab which is attached. Also
if you want to do it in script look at this example:
http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/devshare/designing-birt-reports/1181-dynamic-xtab-creation-using-script/
That example uses parameters to determine what to display.
