SWT Browser User-agent [message #814577] Tue, 06 March 2012 11:12 Go to next message

Hi,

I am embedding a browser in one of my view. For some of the html pages that I navigate to required knowing the browser name and version, so that the page can decided how to render properly.

I have tested IE, Mozilla, Webkit, it looks like IE is the only browser that reports the proper name and version. Is there a way to set the user-agent for the browser? I have tried to pass in the user-agent when calling setUrl, however this property got overwritten when I refresh the page.

Thanks,
Patrick

It's not a matter of/question for SWT browser. SWT browser control is a just thin veneer above actual "real" browser that is doing all the work under the neath.
