Over, over and over again I see this term and still don't have any idea what it should be...

So what is trim related to Eclipse, please?

Toolbar, StatusBar, Right-Trim, Left-Trim are the areas of the
WorkbenchWindow where e.g. minimized stacks are views are shown.
