Jumping past JOptionPane classes [message #803291] Tue, 21 February 2012 01:21 Go to next message

I am new to Java and Eclipse. What I wonder is whether you can bypass all the classes and methods that the debugger is processing when you use the JOptionPane in Eclipse. If I have three user inputs and I am in the debugging mode, I have to hold the F5 key down an watch the program run through all the code before getting to the next option pane. In other GUI's for other programs I have used they have what is called a step over ability that would do this. Does Eclipse allow you to do what I am wanting to do?

Thank you.

Yes, Eclipse has a Step Over feature. It is bound to F6 by default.
