I need to refactor code in a wide term. I know that from inside the Eclipse IDE I can refactor my classes. But is there any API that I can use in a java project so that I can refactor projects dynamically through code?
I don't want to use any UI wizards i.e. user-interaction. what I need is to code a console application that doesn't have any gui, but a standalone application that can take a project as input and will refactor according to config files. Is that possible?
