Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to implement a security system which hides plugin contributions according to the users rights. To achieve this I'm using activities. So far everything works fine.
The problem occurs when I take away rights from a user. It seem to me that in this case my activity pattern binding get somehow overridden by the UIActivities entries in org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings\org.eclipse.ui.workbench.prefs.

I was hoping someone here could shed some light on the topic. Maybe there is a way to prevent eclipse from storing those UIActivities entries?
