Report parameters not retaining default value [message #769983] Thu, 22 December 2011 21:50 Go to next message

I have set up two report parameters : startDate and endDate in my report.
This is linked to the dataset parameters and the query works fine with the parameters.

Issue is that I have set the default value for startDate (as current date) and endDate as (current date -7) via expression. This came up consistently in the prompt when invoking the view. Then just once, I changed the report parameters manually in the prompt.
After that, the parameters are retaining the changed values in the prompt instead of showing the default values when I invoke the viewer.

Is there something I can do to reset the parameters to default?

thanks!

If you are in the designer it saves the last parameter values when you
select the preview tab. If you select view report in Web Viewer from
the toolbar, it should prompt for the parameters with your expressions.
