Eclipse RCP template with EMF, databinding etc. [message #760784] Mon, 05 December 2011 04:28 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm looking for a RCP template/example which includes the (best) use of EMF and databinding. We're having trouble using it all the 'right' way. I'm allso very interested in the use of editingdomain(s) and the commandstack. Is there such a template available?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Ricky de Klerck

http://tomsondev.bestsolution.at/category/databinding/emf/tutorials/

All sample codes are found in CVS inside the modeling project:

server: dev.eclipse.org
path: /cvsroot/modeling
modules: org.eclipse.emf/org.eclipse.emf/examples/*project*

Thanks for your reply.

I'm aware of the examples, but i'm interested in a sample application (like your address book), but with EMF editing domains etc..

Sorry to say that but you DID NOT! I was refering to the example I
present in Tutorial which is not an AddressBook-Application but one to
"manage" Eclipse committers.

If you'd checked out the sources from CVS you'd have found out that this
very example is using the EditingDomain for undo/redo. It also
highlights the useage of OSGi-Services, clever usage of OwnerDraw within
Viewers, ... .

Okay, my mistake! I read over your post too quick. I will check out that example.

Thanks
