Hi, I'm developing a plugin and I've got the word "generic" instead of
options for my extensions in the plugin editor. I had this problem a
while back ,but I've reinstalled and I can't remember how it was solved.
I think it's an update I haven't got, I'm currently using eclipse classic.
Can someone help, this is driving me insane...

Ok, so I've worked out what the problem is here, the schemata for the
extension points aren't present and I don't know which package I need to
install to get hold of them. Can someone let me know which ones are
required?

Hi! I know its a really late reply, but it might anyway help people stuck on this problem.
I had the same problem, running on an Eclipse Indigo 3.7.2 (Build id: 20120216-1857)
For me just installing those two things was enough :
- Eclipse RCP Plug-in Developer Resources
- Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment
(Windows -> install new software -> "http: //download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo")
Hope it might help someone...
Raphael
