Hi again, making a new thread because while my connection-issues seem to have been resolved, I now get the following error message instead:

"Cannot complete the install because some dependencies are not satisfiable
org.eclipse.wb.ercp.feature.feature.group [1.1.0.r37x201108111849] cannot be installed in this environment because its filter is not applicable."

I am attempting to install WB into a clean installation of eclipse classic 3.7, 64bit windows version.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

You should uncheck the eRCP Designer option unless you intend to create eRCP apps.

That plugin is configured for 32-bit Eclipse for Windows only, so it won't work with the 64-bit version.

Finally! After reinstalling jdk and eclipse 32bit versions, the installation of WB Pro now successfully installed, thank you Eric!

On a last note however, I'd just like to mention that attempting to install from the google site (http://dl.google.com/eclipse/inst/d2wbpro/latest/3.7) failed twice with the following errors:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=SDKProfile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).

I then switched installation site to that available at http://www.eclipse.org/windowbuilder/download.php, which was:

http://download.eclipse.org/windowbuilder/WB/release/R201106211200/3.7/

Using this last one to install from the eclipse site the plugin finally installed without errors. Not sure why the google-site malfunctioned, since I used that at work without any problems?
